Following her show at Nightclub 101 on July 15, with Alice Does Computer
Music and Pink Must, Briana Marela stops by to play a set of live music
at WFMU. Based in Oakland, Briana recently released her album My Inner
Rest on AKP Recordings, a collection of 12 electroacoustic songs
performed live by Briana Marela in the Mills College concert hall.
Singing over lush soundscapes with vocal samples and swirling,
skittering synths, Briana's music is a vital document in learning how to
love and have compassion for oneself.
