MORE PHONOANOMALIES for HI-FI BUGS Welcome to the world of 'Phonoanomalies' (coinage mine), this CD being the second in a series of three comps (soon to be joined by a fourth) of completely uncatagorizeable vinyl weirdness, from Dr. Adi Tamboli--Musician and Physician to Ella Fitzgerald freakin' it psychedelic-style and more! Sure to clear the room of the discerning. Most of these gems were gathered over two years living in Pittsburgh, PA. Without Jerry's Records, these comps would not have been possible, so thanks Jerry! 01 excerpt #1 from “PARAKEET TRAINING RECORD” Hartz Mountain Products (date unknown) 02 Bruno Nicolai DE SADE ‘70 from the soundtrack to “MARQUIS DE SADE’S PHILOSOPHY IN THE BOUDOIR” Sonic Italie (bootleg) 1970 03 Slim Whitman THERE’S A RAINBOW IN EVERY TEARDROP from “SLIM WHITMAN SINGS” Imperial LP 9064 1957 04 Ferrante and Teicher AFRICAN ECHOES from “PIANOS IN PARADISE” United Artists 1959 05 Mike Curb TEENAGE REBELLION from the soundtrack to “TEENAGE REBELLION’ ” Sidewalk 1967 06 M.V. Share freely please!!! ***************************************************** Some other Keith Lo Bue Compilations to look out for: ***************************************************** • PHONOANOMALIES for HI-FI BUGS The first of three comps of completely uncatagorizeable vinyl weirdness, from Ferrante & Teicher's nutty piano antics to elk-calling records! Sure to scare those you love. • PHONOANOMALIES: A TOTALLY NEW RECORDING FOR HI-FI BUGS! Wartime mangled-English Japanese pop, symphonies of bird-song, and muchas mas! • VITAL ORGANS A tour through some of the wackiest most bizarre organ recordings I could come across. Dick Hyman, Leleand W. Sprinkle and his great Stalacpipe Organ in Luray Caverns, VA, made in the 1950's out of tuned and struck stalactites and stalacmites(!), and of course, Ray & Carl at "The Musicade", a monstrous two-person performance unit that boasts: Two Lowery and two Hammond organs with air-operated xylophone, marimba, Deagan Trinity Chimes, orchestra and Thomas bells, piano, a complete toy counter of drums, tambourine, maracas, weedo, cow-bell, sleigh-bells and whistles, 2,000 lights, six Leslie speakers, two main speakers and reverb units, six 8-track decks providing 24 channels of prerecorded sound effects, Arp synthesizer, Tascam 4-channel tape recorder, Hohner Clavinet, Mustel Celeste, Indian Tree cymbal, Rhythm King, strobes, 20 assorted spot, flood and revolving colored lights, two mirrored balls, bubble machine and slide projector. OK? • MOOG SOOP (A guide to electronic pop music!) Original recipe. A passel of groovy moog synthesizer action, much of which is extremely rare. Wiggle to it. • MOOG SOOP 2: MOOG POWER! Greasy, but yummy. More rare and out-there moog madness. • MOOG SOOP 3: THIS IS STEREORAMA Soul food. Molto more moog madness. • MOOG SOOP 4: MUCKDE FOOG Cheesy with plenty of filler. The last word in moogy goodness, and sews up the Soop series. • LOST IN TIME: A COLLECTION OF COMMERCIAL AND PRIVATE 78RPM RECORDINGS A compilation of 78's that I've played on a 1928 Victor picnic player and recorded digitally....from theremin ballads to home-recorded singing on flexible records, hear the deep past of recorded music...many of them one-of-a-kind. A haunting listen.
